A book called...not sure yet

My third novel...

I wrote the first page of my third novel today, and no, I'm not going to tell you what it's about. I don't want to talk about it in detail until it's well under way, for fear of dissipating my creative energy.

I can say it's a different genre from Torbrek...and the Dragon Variation and Trav Zander. It will, I hope, benefit from all I have learned from writing those two novels.

  1. Oh good. It's 'Guess that plot.'

  4. Thanks, Nik.

Exciting indeed; and the one advantage of being an umpublished writer is that only my own hopes are riding on it, so nothing to worry about.

  5. But I'm enjoying being mysterious and enigmatic!

I may let the odd hint drop over the next weeks and months, driving my public into a frenzy of anticipation...

(What d'you mean, in my dreams?)

  7. A plucky silversmith is attacked by zombie rocking horses that she planned to restore.

She escapes and meets up with a bedraggled band of coal miners who survived by being underground during the attack of the rockers.

Together, they scour libraries looking for books on how to kill zombies. One day they stumble (one hurts his shin) upon an automated cinema having a Wes Craven festival...

  8. Norm, how did you know?!?

(It was his ankle, not his shin, though).
