Happy Christmas Lexi!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and a happy new year to you, Lexi, and to all your writing friends.
ReplyDeleteTo those who have a book (or two or more) on sale, I wish you a new year full of sales and good reviews.
And to you, Lexi! That's a lovely picture. K x

I'm hoping for a great 2013 - while wondering whether to stockpile tins of baked beans in case the economy crumbles to dust. (Perhaps I'd better buy alcohol too, to take my mind off the beans...)
I hope you had a great Christmas and you're about to have a wonderful new year!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I believe you edited your books yourself. (Whoever did the editing did a damn fine job!) So I was interested to see this post on Wise Words
If you did edit your own books, it gives the lie to Louise's authoritative stance on the need for a paid editor!

ReplyDeleteNormally I ignore and go on my way whistling...I don't want people to waste their time poring over my book samples hoping to spot a typo :o)
Christmas was fun, especially playing Cheat with the offspring and friends.
I'm always too busy enjoying the story to look out for typos! (But I suspect I'd notice if they were there.)
ReplyDeleteIt just annoys me when people make unfounded assertions with complete authority. Oops. I've fallen into xkcd #386 haven't I?
I'm glad you had a good Christmas. It's ages since I've played Cheat!
One of my favourite xkcds...
