In Dreams of the Machines (Time Rats Book 2) Angel the android makes a robotic snake. The offspring, in a nod to my book, got me this remote control serpent for Christmas. I'm very pleased with it.
I think cats might like it, so I looked on Youtube. This cat seems cautiously interested, though the snake isn't being operated very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8wlfciWcBs
I'm afraid Islington, where I live, is totally lacking in snakes. I'd get really excited if I saw one in the wild. (I've just had a thought and checked Google - apparently grass snakes are thriving on Hampstead Heath. Next summer I must go and see if I can find any.)
How very cool!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed awesomely cool, FH. My daughter is good at getting me strange yet satisfying presents.
DeleteAmazing!
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't have a cat, though mine would have run away.

DeleteWe have too many of the real things to mess with a robotic one :)
