REMIX, the Hungarian hardback

Yesterday the Hungarian hardback edition of Remix arrived through the post. A proud moment. So far, Könyvmolyképző Kiadó's is the only hardback version of any of my novels.

Remix has had quite a few covers in its time, and it's interesting that this one has more the feel of my early ones. The title is in raised lettering. My heroine Caz looks very sultry, which I think would amuse her. I particularly like the dedication:

Mintynek
Köszönet minden íro barátomnak – ti tudjátok, kikre gondolok...

  3. And here was I thinking 'Hungarian hardback' was some kind of spinal injury! :-)

Brilliant stuff Lexi. It always feels great to hold a paperback so this must be doubly wonderful. Congrats!

  4. David, I think Hungarian hardback sounds more like a whale...

We all love ebooks for convenience (and making us money via KDP) but this reminded me how nice a brand new hardback is.

  9. Super cool. Many congratulations. Well done to Hungary for spotting you.

I thought a Hungarian Hardback was a dog, a cousin of the Rhodesian Ridgeback.

  10. I'm glad it wasn't dogs that arrived through the mail...not sure what I'd have done with them.

  12. Congrats! I've just picked up a pbk copy for my daughter at a local bookshop, so you've sold at least one copy.

btw you somehow got the word "somat" into your quote of the dedication (it doesn't make sense).

  13. Thank you, Stefan, I hope your daughter enjoys it :o)

Thank you too for your correction - I've altered the post. I think it slipped in via Google Translate, where I went to get the accents, then I failed to proofread. And I'm always saying how good I am at proofreading. Clearly my ability does not extend to Hungarian.
